Visa Service
The AustCham Beijing Business Visa Fast Track Service exists to facilitate the faster processing (3 working days) of Australian as well as New Zealand business visa applications for members of AustCham Beijing.
In order to reduce the inconvenience and staff time expended on the application process for member companies, AustCham Beijing can simplify the experience by handling the application on behalf of members from presentation of documents through to collection of the visas. This service is of particular use to members with frequent need for employees to travel to Australia and New Zealand.
To enjoy this service, members must first achieve Eligible Member status, usually through being a member for a period of one year or over. Members must also take full responsibility for the presentation of complete and accurate supporting documentation.
How to Lodge a Visa Application to Australia with AustCham Beijing
Documents required:
1. Passport
2. Form 456. (Please staple one business card and one passport photo to the top right corner of Form 456.)
3. Form 456 - Supporting Information Form
4. Form 54 (Signatures for both applicant & witness)
5. Form 956. Please complete sections: Part A, Part K
6. Photocopy of Austcham Member Business License with Company Chop
7. Invitation letter from business counterpart in Australia
8. Dispatch letter (on AustCham Member letterhead. This letter MUST include the Company Chop and Chief Representative's signature (AustCham's main contact)
9. Any additional information that would be helpful to the application
10. Cover sheet from AustCham Beijing:
* Green for Australian Business Visa Fast Track (3-day turnaround)
* Blue for Australian Business Visa (7-day turnaround)
How to Lodge a Visa Application to New Zealand with AustCham Beijing
Documents required:
1. Passport
2. Form 1017 & 1027 (Please note: Part 9 in From 1027 requests your Chinese Commercial Code)
3. Two business cards and two passport photos
4. Photocopy of Austcham Member Business License with Company Chop
5. Invitation letter from business counterpart in Australia
6. Dispatch letter (on AustCham Member letterhead. This letter MUST include the Company Chop and Chief Representative's signature (AustCham's main contact)
7. Cover sheet from AustCham Beijing:
* Yellow for New Zealand Business Visa (3-day turnaround)
Visa Costs
Embassy fee:
* Australian visa application fee: RMB700.00 each
* New Zealand visa application fee: RMB640.00 each
AustCham service fee:
* Fast Track Australia: RMB200.00 each
* Fast Track New Zealand: RMB200.00 each
Visa Submission
AustCham Beijing accepts Visa applications daily between 9:00am and 11:00am only.
Visa Collection
An AustCham representative will call you when your Visa is available for collection. The opening hours for collection are 9:30am - 5:30pm

Important Note
- The Visa Fast Track Service is only available for AustCham Beijing Member Company Staff.
- All forms are preferred to be neatly filled in English with BLOCK LETTERS.
- Australian Business Short-stay (subclass 456) applications from the following provinces are lodged, processed and decided in Beijing: Beijing, Heilongjiang, Jilin, Liaoning, Tianjin, Shandong, Hebei, Inner Mongolia, Shanxi, Henan, Ningxia, Shaanxi, Sichuan, Chongqing, Gansu, Qinghai, Xinjiang and Tibet.
Applications from Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Anhui, Jiangxi and Hubei provinces are lodged, processed and decided at the Australian Consulate General Visa Office in Shanghai.
Applications from Fujian, Guangdong, Hunan, Guangxi, Yunnan, Guizhou and Hainan provinces are lodged, processed and decided at the Australian Consulate General Visa Office in Guangzhou.
Non mainland PRC citizens should apply for Temporary Business short-stay visas subclass 456 at the nearest departmental office. - NZ visa applications please click here to find the office to lodge the application.
