APEC Travel Card Stage 2 Implementation: Call for Feedback
In September 2011, following consultation with a broad range of business organisations the Hon Chris Bowen MP, Minister for Immigration and Citizenship, approved new eligibility requirements for the APEC Business Travel Card (ABTC), to be implemented in two stages. Stage 1 was introduced on 16 November 2011. Stage 2 is expected to commence in the coming months but this is dependent on further discussions with the business community.
As you may know, Australian Business Asia (ABA) has been coordinating feedback to DIAC - on behalf of AustChams throughout Asia - on the new eligibility requirements. ABA will be meeting with DIAC on Friday 17th February to provide feedback from the business community.
