AustCham Beijing Mentoring Program - seeking mentors

 

A call for mentors
 
 
2012 AustCham China Scholarship recipients are arriving in Beijing this week to partake in their orientation week. As part of the AustCham China Scholarship, these scholarship recipients are given complementary Young Professional Membership with AustCham Beijing. The key value for the Young Professional membership category is the access to mentoring and career guidance. AustCham Beijing is now looking for interested members of the Australian business community wishing to participate in this initiative. 
 
The AustCham Mentoring initiative involves individuals conducting a seminar or Q&A session with a select group of AustCham young professional members. Topics are selected by the presenter with the assistance of AustCham in order to tailor subject that will be challenging and interesting to the group. These seminars will be conducted in accordance to the presenters’ availability and the duration of each presentation will be as long as the presenter sees fit. An event will be organized in a company boardroom or in the AustCham offices designed to offer insights relevant for the young professional membership group. 
 
This program is a great way to become involved with the next generation of Australia-China business leaders and assist young professionals establish themselves in the competitive Chinese marketplace.
