Lunch with the Honourable Julia Gillard MP
On Tuesday this week AustCham hosted a lunch for Prime Minister Julia Gillard and the most senior business delegation ever to have visited to the country, capping off her five-day visit to China.

Still in the midst of her studies at the University of Melbourne, Marita Cheng was awarded Young Australian of the Year in 2012 for her efforts in encouraging young women to take up a career in engineering.
AustCham Beijing 2013 Scholars Touch Down, Ready for Year in China
This weekend the seven Australian university graduates partaking in AustCham’s China Scholarship Program for 2013 touched down in Beijing following their Qantas flights from Australia. The scholars are set to commence their 12-month scholarship in March with host companies in Beijing, Guangzhou and Shanghai.
